It's Spring! Well, Almost.

I think this is the first time I have been able to get an early garden out in March! It was fun to poke those seeds in the freshly turned soil. I planted yellow, white, & bunch onions, spinach, 3 kinds of lettuce, and peas while Rebekah covered them up.
Enjoy the first day of Spring tomorrow!

Ethan moved dirt as well..

Sunny Spots

Sun glasses that Ethan received for doing his sense of sight homework for preschool.

Mark working on a friend's four-wheeler while our cat, Fluffball keeps her feet warm. I just missed getting a picture of the cat actually laying down and resting on his back earlier. You can see what a patient, affectionate man I'm married to.....especially considering how much his dislike for cats use to be!

Fifty degrees is just too warm for February! Have to shed those shoes, roll up those pants, and take advantage of it!

We didn't miss Valentine's Day around here. Not with this creative girl!

February Bugs

Here was the common household tool for the month of February. It became implemented the day after I last blogged and Jacob was the first user. He had a fever of 103.8 that day. Ethan, Mark, & Rebekah followed suit, all ending in pesky coughs with Marks going on into pneumonia. We overcame that round of bugs just before starting in on a stomach one. This time it hit Ethan, Jacob, Mark, & Sheila - in that order. It is wonderful to have everyone feeling much better - a few sniffles still, yes, but hopefully the worst behind us for the winter!
Don't need a bed for this sleepy boy!

Rebekah's wrapped up in the afghan that Grandma Hoon made for me.....Rebekah doesn't know it, but that's exactly what I remember doing when I was sick as a little girl - wrap up in grandma's afghan on the couch!
